At Digital Link, we are passionate about digital marketing and are in search of a WordPress Specialist / Graphic Designer who shares this enthusiasm. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in our marketing team, assisting in implementing digital marketing campaigns across various channels and ensuring visually appealing designs that engage our audience. This is a local position requiring in-person interviews in Edmonton, Alberta.
Responsibilities:
- Front-end development/design of websites (WordPress and site builders), collaborating with the lead Web Developer.
- Graphic design for digital marketing materials including but not limited to website assets, social media graphics, email templates, and display advertising, collaborating with lead Designer
- Assisting in the creation of engaging visual content that aligns with brand identities and marketing objectives.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Proven experience in multi-channel marketing.
- Expertise in SEO/SEM, marketing database management, email marketing, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
- Creative skills for effective audience engagement through visual design.
- Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
- Proficiency in website analytics tools and ad serving platforms.
- Excellent analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Sketch.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and composition.
- Ability to translate marketing objectives into creative visual solutions.
- Experience in creating engaging and effective visual content for various digital platforms.
- Knowledge of current design trends and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Portfolio showcasing relevant graphic design work.
This full-time hybrid role offers $52,000 per year.
