Microsoft has announced a global price adjustment for several of their licensing plans, effective April 1, 2025. Additionally, for non-profits, Microsoft’s pricing changes will take effect on July 1, 2025.

For Non-Profits
Microsoft has announced that, starting with renewals on or after July 1, 2025, the Business Premium grant for non-profits will no longer be available. This change only impacts free grant licenses. Discounted licenses will still be offered.
What does this mean for you?
- If your nonprofit is using the free Microsoft 365 Business Premium licenses, You will be charged for them when your current subscription period ends at a discount of 75%.
- Microsoft will still offer up to 300 free licenses of Microsoft 365 Business Basic (a simpler version). They’ll also give non-profits up to 75% off on many other Microsoft 365 plans if you need more features.
- If you’re using a free trial, you have 90 days after it expires to switch your users to another plan. If you don’t switch within 90 days, your data will be deleted permanently.

For Business Clients
Microsoft has announced a global price adjustment for several of their licensing plans. These changes will apply to new purchases after April 1, 2025, and to existing subscriptions when they are renewed.
What does this mean for you?
- 5% price increase on several plans. If you’re paying monthly for an annual or 3-year plan, your price will go up 5% when you renew or start a new subscription after April 1, 2025.
- If you add more users/licenses during your existing subscription term, you’ll keep the current price until the term ends.
- If you upgrade to a different Microsoft product or plan, the new plan will include the 5% increase at the time you upgrade.
- Price increases are included for: Microsoft Teams Phone Standard, Power BI Pro, Power BI Premium Per User.
