Appy Alyce: Five Apps To Help Elevate Your Social Media

Why do you follow certain social media accounts? If I had to guess, the reason is likely to be entertained and to discover content that you find useful, valuable, and enjoyable. That can mean different things to different people. However, I have found that with clients, and with my own social media accounts, understanding and recognizing your audience plays a vital role in your success. So, when it comes to making your content, whether it be personal or business — or both! — there are many apps available to help elevate your posts.

Today, I would like to introduce you to five of my personal favourites.

Typorama

Are you looking to add some spice to your photographs? Do you have a clever quote you’d like to display? Then Typorama is perfect for you! This app allows you to add a variety of different fonts to your images. Depending on your aesthetic and/or your brand, you can change the styles, colours, and placement of the font. It also allows you to create a consistent look amongst your posts so that people begin to recognize your style. Typorama is simple to use and doesn’t require design expertise. It’s perfect for beginners.

Vont

Do you have a video that you would like to add text to? Do you have a deep love for vemes (I do!) and want to add some laughter and variety to your social media posts? Then you need to check out the app, Vont. With Vont, you can upload any video, crop as needed and insert a caption to make your video pop. Watch out, Internet: the next viral star is only an app away!

Font Candy

Looking to add creative text to a photograph? Are you a meme machine just waiting to let loose with all your hilarious ideas? Then look no further then Font Candy. I have been using Font Candy for years because it is user friendly and has a variety of features. From different artwork, frames, and borders to a variety of fonts and styles, Font Candy will have you hooked!

Lightroom

Is your photograph too dark? Do you want your pictures to stand out from the crowd? Then you must check out my very favourite app, Lightroom. I use this app in both my personal and professional life. With a variety of pre-sets, there is surely one that will catch your eye. Lightroom can turn a drab photo into something your followers will love. It offers a large range of different adjustments, high quality images and allows you to organize your photos. Check it out! I promise you won’t regret it.

GifShare

Want to have a laugh? Then GifShare is for you! Offering almost any Gif you could possibly imagine; you will have your followers entertained in no time. You can add text you your Gif within the app itself, or you can use an app like Vont. GifShare is great if you are looking to add some variety in your posts-we all know how much people love to laugh and video tends to perform well on social media.
